The youth as a group is most lucky because they are free from the burden of a family life. Therefore, they are free from all anxieties. They enjoy the life in studies and game. They are free from sinful life, mostly ignorant and thus lead a free joyful life at this stage. It is only essential for youth to have an aim in life for future is based on their education. Today’s youth is the future for tomorrow. They are the bases of the pillar to bring the change in the world. Everyone looks at them for change. By observing the youth of today the future of the country can be foretold. Great responsibility lies on the shoulders of the youth as a group.

But today it is observed that present period of Kalyuga has affected the youth as well and they are affected by the present day troubles and peace less while the life of this class would have been essentially full of pleasure and leisure but they also seen worried and hopeless. The main reason of such a situation is that the present day’s youth have forgotten their importance, their duties and their responsibilities. Having been afflicted from the present day characterless atmosphere and the bad company, the youth of today have become victim of sex lust, attachment and ego with the result that they have lost all hope in life. If the youth comes under the grip of these vices all their future plans, however good those may be, will remain more dreams and their life becomes more miserable and hopeless These vices are the real cause of all miseries.

Really it is the purity of mind which us to progress in life. If there is young age, he can achieve progress as much as he desires due to ‘Ekagrata’ undivided attention because youth means, young, obedient to the self, united, truthful and honest and he has got all these powers provided he maintains purity of thought speech and action. But when a youth makes himself ‘Impure due to bad company and comes under the grip of vices, each of his action becomes destructive. All loves a young boy of pure thoughts because each action is constructive and beneficial to all. He has an innocent mind due to purity.


To save himself from the present temporality atmosphere full of vices due to Kalyuga (end of the cyclic order) and to make himself of the highest character, full of virtues and an example to others, the youth must step forward to spiritual education together with his normal studies of his college life. Only them he would be able to come up to the expectation and aspirations of all and fulfill his responsibilities from a vicious world into a voiceless one. If there were no balance of spiritual life, he would not be able to come up to his own expectation despite the best desires and efforts. In the world of today, exciting dirty literature, cinema T.V. radio etc. a youth is being attracted and drawn against his wishes due to lack of will power and spiritual knowledge and he feels that he is getting temporary peace within that atmosphere. Once he enjoyed that life it becomes a habit and later on it becomes the basis of his life full of miseries. It becomes very difficult to get rid of that bad habit.


To save him self from these bad habits and vices, one has to keep him self busy with good deeds, (full of benefit to all) which is only possible through spiritual knowledge and pure thoughts. The more there is spiritual knowledge in himself, the more he will get realization of power, instead of wondering about for artificial peace.

It is very important to remind always to the youth as a group that ……

1. He is the pillar base of the coming world. He should always think that whatever he will do, others would follow the same. A youngster is like a budding flower. He is a source of encouragement to the hopeless ones. He is a lighthouse in the ocean of darkness of this Kalyuga world. He is the foundation stone of the world.

2. A youth is the right of hope for the world because the world is looking at him the next step. If he is under the grip of vices and acts under its influence, the coming generation will follow him and will be comparatively more degraded because naturally children will follow the parents. Therefore, the youth of today must save him and others from the vices (sex lust, anger, ego etc.) just as he guards the frontier of the community from the enemy. He has to give a helping hand in the reconstruction of the new world.


3. The youth is the light to the present generation

At the end of Kalyuga the light of hope is nearly extinguished due to the ignorance. All around there is darkness. In the period of such darkness each youth can be a media to liberate the present generation from the existing conditions by taking a firm vow to himself by spiritual knowledge and Raja– yoga and thus remove the darkness of ignorance because the youth has got physical power, of firm determination and hard labor, also having no attachment but possessing a hope in future.

Therefore, you youth as a group are exhorted to stand up united and after getting spiritual knowledge and Rajyoga, change this devilish world to a Heavenly one worth living by changing yourself the world will change. Change your thought to the best positive and pure ones and such thoughts will not lead to destructive work but rather lead to a constructive act. Therefore, by molding your thoughts with the help of spiritual life and rajyoga you will be able to perform positive acts.
